About us
Fortunelli Consulting is a Santa Barbara–based geoscience firm owned and operated by Nehuen Fortunelli. Before founding Fortunelli Consulting in 2025, Nehuen spent nearly a decade working on diverse environmental projects, ranging from groundwater resources in California and river chemistry research in France, to environmental regulatory compliance in his native Argentina.
Nehuen holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from University of Savoy Mont Blanc in France, and a Master of Science in Geochemistry and Environment from the Paris Institut of Planetary Physics. He is a member of the Groundwater Resources Association of California and brings a global perspective to local challenges.
Nehuen is committed to helping communities and project partners create safe, informed, and sustainable environments for generations to come.
